Home Care TLC has some exciting news!
We were recently named a 4 star home health agency by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The Medicare website Home Health Compare uses star ratings to show people how a home health agency compares to other agencies on measurements of their quality of care and performance. The star ratings are based on 8 measures of health care quality and patient satisfaction that give a general overview of performance for every agency.
The 8 criteria in the "quality of patient care ratings" are:
Timely initiation of patient care
Patient/caregiver drug education
Improvement in ambulation
Improvement in getting in and out of bed
Improvement in bathing
Ability to engage in activity with less pain
Less shortness of breath
Required acute hospitalization
